Which Location Based Service To Use on iPhone?

I feel the same way…

marc:

I’m enjoying playing around with iPhone 2.0 and am fascinated by the idea of Location Based Services. But, I have no idea whether to use Loopt, Where, Whrrl, Yelp, Zintin or some combination thereof. (I also here that Brightkite is good, if you can get an invite. And, I know they offer iPhone integration, though I think it may be via a web app.)

I guess I’ll have to play around and see which (if any) I like. I can’t get Where to actually work, so it may be trashed soon.

Also, not that it’s location based, by I have tried to register for Jott via the iPhone and the web. No go either way. Hope I can register soon. Would like to try it out.

I was in me.com for just a moment, but now it’s redirecting back to info page on apple.com. In the meantime, I have my iTunes upgraded and I’m downloading the iPhone 2.0 update.
The MobileMe update is eminent. mac.com is down for maintenance and you can grab the MobileMe update here.

One bug/feature he ran into was that you can only sync your calendar and contacts with either Exchange or your personal accounts, not both.
